Japanese troops taking an island in the pacific 1942

The Japanese comming ashore. (boats scratch build, figures IT Figures)

 

Covered by an HMG the Japanese infantry rushes over a clearing in the dense jungle (IT Figures).

 

Multi role support comes from a 3,7 cm A/T gun (gun from Fujimi, figures IT Figures).

 

Horses were essential for jungle transport. Limber for the A/T gun (scratch build from Napoleonic Briish horse artillery limber from Newline Design).

 

A mule-transported 75 mm battery comming from the landing zone.

 

The Japanes flag is finaly flying over the island.
